The Plot

Cosmo Speranza is the best art advisor in the business. He can tell whether a work of art is genuine or fake from even the smallest detail. An ability that proves useful when he finds himself working with Rome's Mobile Squad and Inspector Angelo Tiberi. The two are forced to work side by side, discovering that they make an unlikely yet highly effective investigative duo because, just like a painting, a crime scene can also be a forgery. And no one is better than Cosmo at spotting the clues that can bring down the house of cards built by a killer. But when a painting depicting his childhood home is found at a crime scene, it doesn't take Cosmo long to realise that the killer is speaking directly to him, prompting him to reopen the investigation into his father's suicide. A journey between past and present, where it seems impossible to tell truth from fiction.
